Fuji Xerox engaged in a project to enhance their existing Zoho products to accommodate specific Japanese market requirements and integrate updates from Zoho’s new product line, Skydesk. The key objective was to customize the Zoho products to support Japanese Credit Bureau credit card payments within the payments section.

Problem Statement

The main challenge was to integrate Japanese Credit Bureau credit card payment processing into the Zoho products, which were already developed and operational. Additionally, the solution needed to incorporate updates from Zoho’s Skydesk while adhering to Japanese financial regulations.

My Role

As the sole Business Analyst and Tester on this project, I was responsible for:

Approach and Methodology

Waterfall Methodology: Utilized a Waterfall approach to manage the project, following a sequential process from requirement gathering through to testing and delivery.

Customization Design: Developed a detailed plan for integrating the Japanese Credit Bureau payment system, including technical specifications and system modifications.

Solution

Integration: Customized the payment section of Zoho products to support Japanese Credit Bureau credit card payments, ensuring compliance with local financial regulations.

Update Integration: Adapted the solution to incorporate updates from Zoho’s Skydesk product line, maintaining compatibility and functionality.
